JUNE 27TH, 2026 PREVIEW
The regular meeting of Templum Phoenix Lodge No.57 will be held on June 27th, 2026 in the quarters of the Masonic Hall, 907 Prospect Street, Fredericton, N.B. commencing at 1:00 pm sharp.
The in-lodge speaker will be Brother Ed Burridge, whose topic will be “Kabbalah”
This presentation will explore the inter relationship that Kabbalah has with hermeticism and Judaism. The presentation will touch on the Zohar, Qabalah, the Talmud and the Sepherot along with other mystic concepts. What opportunities does the Kabbalah offer to the seeker of the esoteric. What, if anything, are the implications for Freemasonry.
The Festive Board speaker will be Brother R. Wayne Hitchcock who will be presenting the third instalment in a series on Comparative Religion which will attempt to briefly examine man’s inescapable need for religion as well as look at several examples of religions, now deceased. This talk will provide an overview of Taoism, Jainism, Confucianism and if time allows Shinto.
The intent of these presentations is to demystify the religions we may come into contact with in our daily lives as well as to give us a starting point when considering a man, particularly a man not of our own faith, for membership in our fraternity.
The menu for the Festive Board is as follows:
